By the numbers
Building materials distribution, in numbers
Dealers carry most of the trade, credit is the real product, and prices move with tax and input costs. Every figure links to its source.

The problem
Where building-material orders break down
Orders in every channel
Dealers call the sales officer, send WhatsApp messages and email orders, and someone re-keys every one into Tally. Orders placed after hours wait until morning.
App, WhatsApp and email orders land in one queue, priced from each dealer's own list.
Credit is the real product, and it leaks
Terms run from 30 days to three months, and limits are enforced by a phone call after the truck has left.
A credit limit for each dealer, checked when the order is placed. Orders over it are held or sent to your approver.
Price lists that keep changing
GST moved cement from 28% to 18% overnight, and fuel and raw-material costs keep moving tile, pipe and steel prices. Dealers, sub-dealers and projects all pay different rates.
A price list for each customer group, changed once and shown in every dealer's app on their next order.
Dispatch is a black box
Freight is a quarter of cement's cost, yet dealers still call to ask where the truck is, and 'short supply' or 'breakage' claims hold up payment.
Drivers deliver with photo proof and location, dealers track deliveries live, and payments are recorded at the door.
Big catalogues, no stock visibility
Dealers can't see what's in stock or at what price, so they call, wait, or order something that isn't there.
Dealers see live stock and their own prices as they order, with categories, variants and images to find the right item.
Projects need their own rates
Builders and projects buy at special rates that live in email threads and spreadsheets, and the wrong rate ends up on the invoice.
Keep builders and projects in their own customer group with their own price list, so every order is priced right.
How it works
How a dealer order flows
- 1
The dealer orders
In your app, on WhatsApp or email, or through your sales officer on a visit.
- 2
Priced from their list
The dealer's own price list applies, and the schemes for their group are added automatically.
- 3
Credit checked
The order is checked against the dealer's credit limit, and exceptions go to your approver.
- 4
Delivered with proof
The driver delivers, captures photo proof and location, and records any payment.
- 5
In your books
The invoice, stock and dealer balance update in Tally or Zoho.
Features
Built for building-material networks
Dealer app
Your branded dealer app
Android, iOS and a web portal on your own domain. Only dealers you approve can log in, and each sees only their own prices.
Control centre
Every channel in one queue
Orders from the app, WhatsApp, email and your sales officers, captured and tracked from placement to delivery.
Control centre
Price lists by customer group
Separate lists for dealers, sub-dealers, builders and projects, with volume pricing. Change a rate once and every app shows it.
Control centre
Credit limits and approvals
A limit for each dealer, checked on every order, with approval stages you configure and a log of every decision.
Sales app
Orders on the dealer visit
Sales officers take orders with live prices and stock, and keep working offline where coverage drops.
Rider app
Delivery with photo proof
Assign deliveries, track drivers live, and close each one with a photo and location. Drivers record cash and cheque payments.
Dealer app
Big catalogues, easy to order from
Categories, variants and images, with live stock, and repeat orders from the dealer's history in a few taps.
Payments
Payment links
UPI, cards and net banking, confirmed automatically, so dealers can clear dues without waiting for a collection visit.
Integrations
Tally and Zoho sync
Confirmed orders become invoices in Tally, with stock, dealer balances and credit notes kept in sync.
ERP
With or without an ERP
Most building-material makers and distributors bill in Tally. ZunderFlow runs the dealer ordering and keeps your books up to date.
No ERP yet?
- Dealer orders from every channel
- Group price lists and credit limits
- Stock visibility and low-stock alerts
- Dispatch, live tracking and proof of delivery
- Payment collection and reconciliation
- Sales, dealer and territory reports
Your accountant keeps the books and GST filing in Tally or Zoho, which ZunderFlow updates automatically.
Already on Tally, Zoho or an ERP?
- Confirmed orders pushed to Tally, where invoices are created automatically
- Stock, dealer balances and payments kept in sync, with credit and debit notes handled
- Zoho Inventory items, customers, price lists and sales orders synced natively
- SAP, Oracle and other ERPs connected through our API and webhooks
ZunderFlow becomes the dealer-facing layer, and your ERP stays the system of record.

Adoption
Why dealers use it
Networks typically bring their first 50 dealers on board within the first week.
Faster than calling the sales officer
Dealers see their own prices and live stock, and place a repeat order in a few taps, at any hour.
WhatsApp still works
Dealers who prefer WhatsApp keep using it, and their orders land in the same queue.
No more 'where is my truck?'
Dealers track their delivery live and get order updates, so they can plan the site.
